Each year, we have some folks who need a little bit of extra help in affording the trip to Further Confusion. This is your chance to help them out. The folks listed on this page are folks who have specifically requested help from the fandom and are people we feel are worthy of your consideration.

How to request Travel Assistance

If you need just a little help in getting to Further Confusion 2012, we're here for you! FC can offer travel assistance to those in need. Just e-mail us at (with 'Travel Assistance' in the subject line), and we'll add you to the list below.

When e-mailing us, make sure that you include your real name, fan name, mailing address, and provide a brief description (a paragraph or two) about yourself and what you feel you can contribute to the convention. Note that the deadline for getting on to the travel assistance list is October 1, 2011.

Hi there! I am a fun-loving ferret in college names Scribbles who really wants to make it to Further Confusion this year. I was on travel assistance last year, although as soon as I can get financially secure I plan to make some generous donations to the con as my way of saying thank you ^^

Anyway, I have a couple ideas for panels I could host. The first one is a pokemon fan-based panel. I planned to host it last year, although my plans fell through, so I would really like to get that done this year (and have it actually happen this time, yay!). I also have a college degree from film school (writing/directing emphasis), so depending on what other writing panels will be available I would be happy to host a panel on writing and crafting a screenplay as opposed to other creative writing formats. Anyway, thanks so much. I can't really emphasize how grateful I am that something like travel assistance even exists to begin with!
